Tagged VIPs
Customer tag is "VIP" → 15% off the order
A logged-in customer tagged VIP gets 15% off at checkout; everyone else pays full price.
Tab Promo can limit a discount to specific customers using Shopify customer tags, number of past orders, lifetime spend, logged-in status or B2B company status. On the Pro plan it can also read a customer metafield, such as a loyalty tier written by your points app, so "Gold members get 15% off" runs at checkout without exporting lists. Any offer type works: order or product discounts, tiers, Buy X Get Y, free gifts or free shipping.

FAQ
No. Customer tags, order count and lifetime spend come straight from Shopify. You only need another app if you want to target a loyalty tier or score it stores in a customer metafield.
Yes. Make it a code discount; the code only gives a discount to customers who meet the conditions. The VIP exclusive discount template starts as a code discount.
No. Shopify's own customer segments and other discount apps can also use customer data. Tab Promo's approach is to put the loyalty condition in the same rule as tiers, gifts or BOGO, and preview it before publishing.
No outside calls are made at checkout. Shopify reads the customer data and runs the discount logic inside its own checkout.
Yes, if you allow it in the campaign's Combinations setting, which follows Shopify's order, product and shipping discount combination rules.
