Setup

How to set it up.

Install and build on Free. Create campaigns, run Preview against real orders, use Stack Simulator and the publish check, and publish live promotions for up to 20 promotion orders a month.
Choose a plan. When you need more than 20 promotion orders a month, open Tab Promo's Billing page, click Choose plan and pick Starter, Pro or Growth on Shopify's plan page. Paid plans start with a 7-day free trial.
Publish your campaigns. Open Publish on each campaign and click Publish now. Up to 25 campaigns can be active at once on every plan.
Change plans when you need features. Move up for metafield rules and the storefront API (Pro) or A/B tests and profit reports (Growth). On a paid plan, order volume never forces an upgrade.

Where it stops.

On paid plans the limit is campaigns, not orders: up to 25 active campaigns.
The Free plan covers 20 paid promotion orders a month (only orders that use a Tab Promo discount count). After a 3-day grace period, promotions pause until the next UTC month, and you republish them.
Flat pricing does not mean every feature on every plan. Metafield rules and the storefront API need Pro; A/B tests and profit reports need Growth.
Charges are billed by Shopify with your app subscriptions, at the prices listed on the Shopify App Store.

Common questions.

Does Tab Promo charge per order or take a share of sales?

No. Each paid plan is a flat monthly price. There are no per-order, usage or overage charges.

Is there a cap on orders or discounted orders?

Not on a paid plan: orders are unlimited, and what is limited is campaigns, up to 25 active at once. The Free plan covers 20 promotion orders a month.

What happens to my bill during Black Friday?

It stays the same. Your plan price doesn't depend on order volume, and the discounts are calculated inside Shopify checkout by Shopify Functions.

Is there a free plan or a free trial?

Both. The Free plan runs live promotions with Starter features for 20 promotion orders a month, and drafts and previews stay available beyond that. Starter, Pro and Growth each start with a 7-day free trial.

Do I need Shopify Plus?

No. Tab Promo's plans don't require Shopify Plus. Only linking a Tab Promo product discount with a Shopify-native product discount on the same item needs Plus.

What happens to my campaigns if I switch plans?

Drafts stay available on every plan. Before you switch, the Billing page lists which campaigns will stop running or can't go live on the new plan, so nothing changes by surprise.
