Tab Commerce

See what your upsells and bundles sold, order by order

Tab Upsell & Bundles reports upsell and bundle results separately, and takes refunds off revenue while keeping the original sale on record. An order-level export lets you check each sale against its Shopify order, and sales the app cannot link to an offer are shown as not linked rather than counted. The reports show what sold with your offers, not extra sales the app claims to have caused.

Examples

Offers you can set up today.

Upsell sale

Shopper sees the wax kit card, adds it from the card, and buys within 7 days

Counted as an upsell sale for that campaign.

Added another way

Shopper sees the card, then adds the wax kit from its own product page

Not counted as an upsell sale. Only items added from the card count.

Partial refund

Customer returns the board bag from a bundle

A refund entry lowers bundle net sales. The original sale stays on record.

Order line not linked

A sale the app cannot tie to an offer it showed

Shown as not linked to a campaign, never counted as an upsell sale.

Setup

How to set it up.

  1. Open Analytics. Open Analytics and filter by Upsell or Bundle. Switch between Campaigns and Products to see sales, orders, and units.
  2. Pick the period. Choose a date range inside your plan’s history: 90 days on Starter, 365 on Optimize, 730 on Scale.
  3. Open a campaign’s performance. From Campaigns, open a campaign’s Performance page to see Card views, Clicks, Added to cart and Sales per view for upsells, or Bundle views, Bundles added and Complete bundles for bundles.
  4. Export the order data. Use Export order evidence on Home, or the export on a campaign’s Performance page, to download order-level CSV. Large exports come in batches; Download next batch continues from the same snapshot.

Good to know

Where it stops.

  • Reports show sales linked to your offers. They do not prove the app caused those sales; some shoppers would have bought anyway.
  • New orders can take a few minutes to arrive from Shopify. An empty period is not a confirmed zero.
  • Shipping and taxes are kept separate, and after a partial refund net sales can differ from the original order total.
  • History depends on your plan: 90 days on Free and Starter, 365 on Optimize, 730 on Scale.

FAQ

Common questions.

What counts as a valid impression?

At least half of the offer must be on screen for at least half a second, while the browser tab is visible. Offers that load off-screen are not counted. Valid impressions are used for reporting and optimization only; no plan limits them.

How are refunds handled?

A refund is recorded as its own entry against the original order and lowers net revenue. The original sale is kept, not deleted, so you can see both.

When does a sale count as an upsell sale?

When the shopper saw the card, added the item from it, and ordered within 7 days. An item added any other way isn’t counted, even if the shopper saw the card. The 7-day window is the same for every store.

Are upsell and bundle numbers added together?

No. They are tracked separately. If one sold line matches both an upsell and a bundle, it counts once, under the bundle.

Can I export the data?

Yes. The order-level CSV downloads in batches, and batch size depends on your plan (25,000 rows per batch on Starter, 100,000 on Optimize, 500,000 on Scale). Download next batch continues until every row is out.
