A round bundle price in every currency you sell in

Tab Upsell & Bundles lets you enter an exact bundle price for each currency you sell in, so a set that is $80 in the United States can be exactly CA$110 in Canada rather than whatever today’s exchange rate makes it. The amount is applied as entered, in whole cents, by a Shopify discount in the cart and at checkout. A currency without an exact amount gets no fixed-price bundle saving instead of a guessed conversion; percentage-off bundles work in every currency.

Setup

How to set it up.

  1. Check your Market currencies. In Shopify, go to Settings → Markets and note the currency each market sells in.
  2. Open the bundle offer. In your Bundle campaign, open the offer and choose Fixed bundle total or Fixed amount off under Bundle pricing.
  3. Add exact local amounts. Open Exact local amounts and enter an amount for each other Market currency. Your store currency uses the main bundle price.
  4. Save and wait for Live. Save the campaign. The status shows Updating until Shopify confirms the discount, then Live.
  5. Test each market. On your storefront, switch country, add the bundle, and check the cart and checkout show the amount you entered.

Good to know

Where it stops.

  • Up to 20 extra currencies per price, entered in the currency’s smallest unit, such as cents.
  • Percentage off takes no local amounts — it is the same percentage everywhere.
  • Only the bundle price or saving is exact. Product prices, taxes, duties and shipping follow your Shopify Markets settings as usual.
  • If an exact amount would not save the shopper money at that market’s prices, the bundle is not offered there.
  • It runs on Shopify Online Store themes, not headless or Hydrogen storefronts.

Common questions.

Why not convert one price automatically?

Exchange rates move, so a converted bundle price changes from day to day and rarely lands on a round number. Shopify converts fixed-amount discounts into the shopper’s currency at checkout; an exact local amount stays exactly what you entered.

What happens in a currency I didn’t set?

A fixed-price bundle shows no saving and charges regular prices there, rather than guessing. Percentage-off bundles still apply.

Does it work for build-a-box bundles?

Yes. Configured bundles with choice pools take exact local amounts too, including one set for each quantity tier.

Does the exact price apply if the shopper adds the pieces separately?

Yes, for a fixed product set: the exact amount applies whenever the cart holds the whole set. A build-a-box bundle gets it when the shopper builds the box in the bundle block.
