Plan access and analytics

Separate plan access, the Free order allowance, API access, analytics history, exports, and how valid impressions are counted.

Use Billing to inspect the shop’s current subscription and entitlements. Returning from Shopify’s plan page is not enough: wait for the app to confirm the active subscription.

Free has Starter’s capabilities. No paid plan limits orders or storefront views. A shop without an active plan keeps its reports and exports but shows no offers.

Stay within the Free allowance

Free includes 50 eligible Online Store orders per fixed 30-day period. Every eligible Online Store order counts, including orders without an Upsell or bundle; Billing shows usage and when the period ends. The 51st eligible order starts a 72-hour grace period. If the store is still over the allowance when grace ends, new offer delivery and activation pause. Drafts, settings and reports stay available. Eligible published offers are restored once usage is within the allowance again or a paid plan takes effect; saved drafts stay unpublished. Exceeding the allowance never creates an automatic charge or upgrade.

Bundles have their own storefront entitlement, separate from API access. The official product-page block, the custom-spot block, spot-key requests, and their quotes use it on every plan. Only resolving bundles by explicit offer IDs, and the quotes that selection issues, require API access. Offer-authoring limits and storefront delivery are separate checks.

Scale adds the gross-profit optimization goal and profit guardrails. Both depend on product costs in Shopify; check cost coverage before relying on them.

Read analytics within the available history

Analytics history is 90 days on Free and Starter, 365 days on Optimize, and 730 days on Scale. CSV exports come in batches of up to 25,000 rows on Free and Starter, 100,000 on Optimize, and 500,000 on Scale; Download next batch continues from the same snapshot. The selected range must fit the active plan’s history.

Upsell and Bundle analytics remain separate. An upsell sale counts only when the item was added from an offer card; see Attribution and reporting. Refunds adjust attributed outcomes; attributed revenue is not incremental lift.

Where attributed gross profit is exposed, inspect product-cost coverage. Unknown costs remain unknown. A coverage-qualified merchandise profit measure is not proof of incremental profit and is not a full accounting margin.

Understand valid impressions

A valid impression requires at least 50% of the offer to be visible for at least 500 ms while the page is visible. API requests and offscreen cards are not counted.

Valid impressions feed reporting and Optimize allocation. They are not billed or capped on any plan, including Free.

Troubleshoot an unavailable capability

  1. Confirm the subscription state shown inside the app, and on Free, whether the order allowance has paused offers.
  2. Check the capability, placement, date range, and export limit you are using.
  3. For SDK access, verify the installed shop’s signed App Proxy path.
  4. For an empty bundle, confirm the subscription is active (and, for an explicit offer-ID selection, that API access is enabled) before changing the product set, then inspect variant availability and market prices.

See Storefront API and authentication for request boundaries.
