Tab Commerce

Find products your customers already buy together

Tab Upsell & Bundles reads your last 90 days of paid Shopify orders and lists the product pairs bought together, with how many orders each pair appeared in. You decide which pairs become an upsell or a bundle; nothing goes live until you finish and save it. With fewer than 20 eligible paid orders, you pick the products by hand instead.

Plan: Free — 50 Online Store orders every 30 days; Starter — $49/month for unlimited orders (Discovery, unlimited campaigns and bundles on both)

Setup

How to set it up.

  1. Open Discovery. In the app, open Discovery. It looks through up to 90 days of paid orders. Use Refresh analysis to run it again.
  2. Review the pairs. Each row shows a product pair, how many orders had both, an opportunity score, and how many orders were analyzed. Check stock and fit before you act.
  3. Create an upsell or a bundle. Click Create upsell or Create bundle. The editor opens with the pair filled in. Nothing is live yet.
  4. Finish, save, and add the block. Set the discount, placement, or bundle price and save. The campaign shows Live only after Shopify confirms it. Then add the matching block in the theme editor.

Good to know

Where it stops.

  • Discovery suggests pairs of products. You can grow a pair into a bundle of up to four products yourself.
  • It needs at least 20 eligible paid orders in the last 90 days. Test orders don’t count.
  • It keeps the 500 strongest pairs, and it updates when you click Refresh analysis, not on a schedule.
  • A frequent pair describes past orders. It does not predict what an upsell or bundle will sell.
  • Nothing is published or recommended automatically. Upsells only show products you approved.

FAQ

Common questions.

Does it publish recommendations automatically?

No. Create upsell and Create bundle only fill in an editor. Your storefront changes only after you save the campaign and Shopify confirms it.

How far back does it look?

Up to 90 days of paid orders. It needs at least 20 eligible paid orders in that window to rank pairs.

What is the opportunity score?

The number of orders with both products, squared, divided by the number of orders analyzed. It sorts the list. It is not a sales forecast.

Can Discovery change an upsell or bundle I already set up?

No. Upsells stay inside the products you approved, and bundles stay inside the variants you allowed. Discovery cannot widen either.

What if my store is new?

Use Create manually to pick the products yourself. Run Discovery again once you have enough paid orders.

How often does the list update?

Discovery runs once after install and again whenever you click Refresh analysis. Refresh after a busy season or a catalog change to see the latest pairs.

Is it a prediction model?

No. It counts how often products appear together in your own paid orders. There is no model guessing what shoppers might want.
